TV ratings: 'Modern Family' and holiday specials solid Wednesday, 'X Factor' rises
Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012
Wednesday's "Modern Family" improved on its ratings from its last new episode, keeping a stranglehold on the adults 18-49 crown for the night. "Suburgatory" was down a little in viewers, but it improved its 18-49 rating from two weeks ago.
Elsewhere, NBC's all-holiday special lineup turned in better-than-usual numbers for a Wednesday, and "The X Factor" was up a good amount from last week's pre-Thanksgiving show. "Arrow" also stayed strong for The CW, while all of CBS' lineup improved on last week on the way to a win in total viewers.
CBS averaged 11.5 million viewers and a 7.4 rating/12 share in households in primetime. FOX (8.1 million, 4.7/7) came in second, while ABC (7.97 million, 4.6/7) just edged NBC (7.96 million, 4.9/8) for third. The CW brought in 2.9 million viewers and a 1.8/3.
